In the early 19th century, a Swedish physiologist, Per Henrik Ling, developed a therapeutic system. It’s named as “Medical Gymnastics”,  which was movements performed by a therapist. After years of getting popular in Europe, this therapeutic system came to the United States in 1858, and people named it “Swedish Movement Cure”. But now, People call it “Swedish Relaxation Massage”.
